How many glasses of water do you drink every day? Not juice, coffee or soda- but good old H2O. My guess is that most of you don't drink nearly enough.

Did you know that half of the time you think you are hungry you are actually thirsty?

Did you know that if you do not drink water, you are more likely to hold onto water in your body?

Or that drinking enough water can reduce your risk of having a heart attack?

Also, drinking water can help prevent headaches, aid digestion, clear up skin problems, and give you more energy to get through your day!

Do you need any more reasons to fill up that glass?

But how much water do you need?

There is no magic number- we used to say 8 glasses a day, but studies have shown that it all depends on your weight, age and activity level. So to simplify things, let’s try to drink one full 8 oz glass of water with each meal. Not only will this ensure that you are getting enough of the stuff, but it will also help you get full more quickly thereby helping you lose some unwanted pounds over time!

If you are already doing this- keep it up- now add a glass before and after exercise to balance out the water loss you experience during your workout session!
